TEN MINUTE TRAINER

Can you get the body you have always wanted in just 10 minutes per day?

The answer to this question may be yes, if you are already close to the body you have always wanted.

Can working out only ten minutes per day work?

Yes, if you are over weight, out of shape and generally a couch potato, then 10 minutes per day of exercise is an improvement.

When you order Ten Minute Trainer you receive 4 excellent videos that will take you by the hand through your ten minute workout each day.  It will even tell you what days to do the workout on.

  • Video 1:  Is a total body workout using 10 exercises you complete in 10 minutes
  • Video 2:  Is a cardio exercise program that includes body weight movements, kicks and punches.
  • Video 3:  A lower body workout that works your legs and abs
  • Video 4;  Yoga flex, is a great program that involves using yoga type stretching.

You also receive a set of exercise bands as well as some handy 10 minute nutrition recipes.

You receive all of this for only 79.90 + shipping

Now for those that do not want to spend that type of money there are a few things you should look at.

The cost of the bands alone could run you around  9.00 to as much as 49.95 depending on the quality of the bands that are included in the program.

So what does this mean? Well you are only paying 70.90 to 30.00 for the program.  When you break it down this way, seems like a pretty good deal.

But do you need to spend that 30 to 70 dollars for what you receive?  Lets take a look at the basics of the program for those like me that do not really like to part with our money.

  • Day 1: Put together any full body workout using from 5 to 10 movements that work the entire body
  • Day 2:  Do a day of cardio exercise.  This can include running in place, jumping jacks, lunges, hopping or jump rope. Get the heart rate up and keep it up for 10 minutes.
  • Day 3: Do some squats, lunges, leg raises and abdominal work for 10 minutes.
  • Day 4: Do 10 minutes of stretching, yes you can get these movements from any yoga website.

Is the 10 minute trainer worth the money?  You need to decide that.

You really do need to read the fine print: The program is promoted as the complete workout in only 10 minutes per day and goes on to say “For quicker results add a second program to each day”   now you have a 20 minute program.

For even faster results I would add another unit or perhaps 2 to each day and then you have a 40 minute workout, each day.

Sounds like most programs that are promoted for weight loss, muscle toning and getting fit.

The point of this tirade is not to knock the product, it is to point out that without spending your hard earned money you can create your own 10 minute training program.

For myself I will stick with the following:

  • 10 minutes of Cardio to warm up
  • A full body circuit training program that works the upper and lower body
  • 20 minutes of Cardio after my circuit training
  • 10 minutes of stretching for flexibility.

Do this 3 or 4 days each week and on the off days,  focus on cardio exercise like hiking, walking, bicycle riding, using the jump rope or a combination of all these.
