Fat Loss Workout to maximize fat burning

To maximize your fat loss workout,  you need to do cardiovascular exercise as well as resistance training.  If you are anything like me, you hate doing a half hour or an hour of cardio exercise.  I can do about ten or fifteen minutes on the treadmill and I start getting bored.  I know, wear head phones and listen to cool salsa music, don’t work.  I have even tried watching television while walking on the treadmill to no avail.

There is also the time requirement of doing a full workout and then adding in another thirty minutes on the treadmill.  A lot of people just do not have a good hour and a half to two hours they can devote to the gym. When you find out that you do not have enough time to maximize fat burning, you throw in the towel and quit.  Everyone wants to see results and time too often gets in the way.

Here is a great way to do your resistance training and still get in your cardio workout for the day.  Combine them into one session.  Normally people will do a period of cardio, then resistance training, then the final round of cardio.  This method takes a lot of time in the gym, this method cuts down on the gym time without taking away the fat loss benefit of a good fat loss workout.

Begin with a good warm-up on the treadmill, stair stepper or your preferred cardio, do this for fifteen minutes.  Immediately go to your first resistance exercise.

You are probably going to do 2 or 3 sets for each exercise and in-between sets you are going to take a minutes rest before doing the next set.  How many times during this one minute rest period has some on started a conversation with you?  Do not just sit there or start up a conversation with some one.  Do some jumping jacks, jump rope, run in place or get on the treadmill for the minute and then do the next set.

Keep repeating this for each exercise and each set.  Do not let your heart rate drop and when you have completed your workout, you will have also had a great cardio workout for the whole time.  You will find this to be challenging to your cardio conditioning as well as extremely effective at burning fat.
